I am not sure if it was human or vet. All I can say it stung me like a mother. I was able to get it in but dam, that stung. I have taken my full dose of B-12 and added Bac water that helps with the sting. Now I prefer to get my B-12 through my Kynoselen, I know its not full dose, but that product has other properties that I love.
