B12 injection Question?

Is this supposed to be done IM or SUBQ? Any ehlp is appreciated. Also what is a good dose?

I know that its IM, but can not remember what dose, it was a few years ago...only just getting back into it after about a 5 year layoff...Iam sure someone here will help with dosage

any subq users? some1 on another board said subq? Id prefer IM but im gonna be doing fina and tahts ED shot. Can it be mixed with this?

You can mix B-12 with anything and do IM.

I have a bottle right here...this is what it says

Usual Adult dosage:
100 to 1000 mcg monthly or as directed

For IM or deep subcutaneous use.

How did you find these shots painful...was it vet B12 or human...mine were less then noticeable 5 min later.

You can do both. "For IM or deep subcutaneous use."

I even asked the pharmacist about this...SubQ will work just fine.

1. Either IM or SC is fine. Easiest to go w/ a 29g slin pin, don't even feel it. Or, you can use it to dilute more painful gear.
2. It is NOT painful at all.
3. My opinion about dosage (everyone is different!):
- 1000mcg/wk while off cycle
- 1000mcg 1-3x/wk while on cycle
- 1000mcg ED for 3 days if you start feeling a cold coming on.

I found it a tad painfull too, it also freaked me out cause it looks like I'm injecting blood, lol

Well... that's the first time I've ever heard anyone say B12 is painful... like I said everyone's different!

I've shot a lot of B12, both human and vet grade, and it was never painful, other than the normal pain youd expect from sticking a friggin piece of metal in yourself

BTW, go w/ human grade, it's nice to have the peace of mind...
