Shit, you say the pics make it look much worse?? I dont think it's that bad either. I was expecting to see worse.
I developed a slight and natural bit of gyno (when I hit puberty), but mine is more concentrated at the nipple, not the whole breast. In your case, I'd say hit the chest with a good routine.....you are more naturally stocky than I am, so I think it's worth ignoring surgery for a while and see. Besides, do you have the money for surgery and are you not concerned with costs? If money is no object here, hmmmm, then maybe surgery. But that's only because I know how bad this can bother someone. But again, I was expecting to see much worse....and you say the pics make it worse, so.....
Other than that, I say get your skin tanned during swimsuit seasons and say f*ck it over the winter (other than maintaining your chest workouts )
Shit, my profile probably looks worse, and I don't even sweat it that much these days (since I'm bigger than I was as a young teen).
Yeah, a tan helps......get the dark Coppertone "Endless Summer" self tanner. It works great and it's enough to make you look leaner, heh.
Oh, and by the way.....it just looks like you have natural pecs. Most small/average sized guys don't even have that!

Well guys, I must say I really appreciate all the responses. I was pretty set in my mind on having the surgery done, but after reading these responses, I think I'll hold off for a while. As long as it's not very noticeable to others, then I'm ok with it. I guess since I'm critiqueing myself, I think it looks much worse than it actually does. I'm going to get back into a steady workout routine and try to get back to my old size. Of course I'll get the tan for the summer, so all that should help a bit. The doctor wrote me a prescription for Celebrex 200mg and told me to take 1 a day. Do you think it's worth taking the anti-inflammatories? From what I've read, gyno is an enlargement of the male breast tissue, not something that's inflamed. I suppose it can't hurt to try it though. Thanks again for the replies!

the only bad thing about the surgery is the cost about $4500 and about a month away from the gym. I would recommend it except you have to keep in mind that gyno can come back, I know of a few guys that have had the surg more than just once, I'm just saying his doesn't look bad enough to warrant surg.

I got gyno as a teen, not because of roids....just naturally and mine looks worse than that but because of the way I am built now, it's really not noticiable...I would not even sweat that, just work out hard and do cardio you will be fine.Strength, Power, and Love of the game is all you need.

I have a case similar to yours from puberty. I thought about surgery, and decided to wait and get in the gym and try to cut up, and get reduce the size. That didnt work, no matter how much fat I lost, it stayed the same. So I decided to put some more size on my chest, and really concentrate on hitting the upper chest to hide it. That was a mistake, because now it seem the bigger my chest gets the more it shows through my shirts. I am in the process of trying to get insurance to cover it right now. If not I will be paying for surgery, $3800 which is pretty reasonable from what I hear. If I get my insurance to cover I will let you know how I went about it. If it were me I would go for surgery, I dont think you look bad, its the mental aspect that kills you, take it from someone who knows.
