  • Gyno pics. Need advice. Only serious replies plz.

Hey guys, I am going to post some pics and want to get some advice from you about what I should do concerning my gyno. Basically, I've done 3 cycles, and in effect, developed gyno in my right breast. I've been out of the gym for a while now, and lost a lot of size and gained some bodyfat (so I don't look that great in the pics). None of that really concerns me. I want to focus on the gyno right now. I went to the doctor and definitely confirmed that it is gyno. He gave me 2 options. I can either take anti-inflammatories for about 6 weeks and see if the swelling goes down, or I can have surgery. He explained the entire procedure to me and told me that if I did the surgery, I would end up with a scar under my right pec, and I risk it ending up a little smaller than the left pec. From what I've read, taking liquidex or any other anti-e's at this point is basically pointless. I also do not believe that the 6 weeks of anti-inflammatories will make any difference either. I have not been on any steroids in quite some time and I think that if any swelling was going to go down, it would have already done so. However, I would like second opinions. Some of my friends say I look fine without a shirt on and don't need to do anything about it. I had them look at the pictures and they say you notice it a LOT more in the pictures, but in real life they really don't notice it at all. For some reason the pictures bring it out more according to them. They said if I hadn't told them I had gyno, they would never have known from just looking at me. I definitely notice it, but of course I'm going to notice every little detail wrong with myself.

    Questions:

    1. What do you guys think? Do you think it's worth doing the surgery and risk having my right pec end up smaller than the left one?

    2. Is there any point in running the anti-inflammatories for 6 weeks?

    3. Once I start working out again and increasing my chest size, will the gyno be less noticeable? (If so, would they begin to look more the same enough to warrant not doing the surgery?)

    4. Since I am kind of flabby right now, should I hit the gym hard, increase my muscle size, and drop some fat, and wait and see if it starts to look better before making the decision to get it cut out?

Thanks for taking the time to read this, and if you've looked at the pics and can answer any of my questions or have some comments of your own, I'd greatly appreciate it.

i personally don't think the difference is that big... i didn't even notice it till u pointed it out...
as for ur questions, i don't think antiinflammatories would do anything for it... it's not an inflammation...
i would go for the surgery... true it might look smaller, but it also might not... even if it does, it's really easy to grow tits again...
i got gyno too, and the only way i could hide it, was by increasing my upper chest size... it does the trick but i still got gyno...
i tried 'hitting the gym and dropping the bf' and it didn't change my tits at all...

so if u ask me, i'd go for the surgery.....

i woould suggest your No. 4 opion before I would run off and get surg. I had the surg. It works , but it sucks if I were you I would wait and see what you can do on your own, but remember once you start to worry about your gyno it distracts you from feeling better about yourself, you may have to deal with that mentally til you get the surg.

What sucks so bad about the surgery? From what my doctor said, it's a 1 day surgery. I'd go in the morning, he'd put me to sleep, make an incision under the right pec, cut it out, sow me back up, and I could leave the same day. He said I'd probably be able to go to school the next day. He said maybe 3 weeks before hitting the gym again. Does that not sound right? You're speaking from experience, so what actually happens?

I can try cutting to see what it will look like, but I know for a fact that it's gyno. I had a mammogram and ultrasound to prove it. Just trying to decide whether it is better to deal with it or get it cut out.

It doesn't look all that terrible to me either, but if it bothers you that much maybe you ought to have the surgery. I would try option #4 first and then decide whether or not to go ahead with the surgery.

I've seen a lot worse. You're beating yourself up over this. I wouldn't go under the knife for something like that until everything else failed.

It's a mild case, but I can tell the right pec has some signs of Gyno. Once it's there it's there, so surgery is the only way to get rid of it. I actually believe cutting up will make it more pronounced. Meaning that it will be easier to see.

My left pec looks almost the same, I started getting scratchy nips on my last cycle. I did alot of cardio and cutting and it really didn't change the shape of my chest enough for anyone to notice, but everythime I looked down at it I could tell the difference. Your case is very mild just as mine is, If nobody else can tell the difference stay away from the knife....Remember YOU are your worse critic.

Dude, that's not noticable. I wouldn't worry about it. Definately cut the b/f and see if it helps. It may not help some, but it does for others. I don't think it would hurt to use Nolvadex for a while either, @40mg/day. Give it a shot before surgery.
