I quit trying to make weight, im doomed for super heavyweight forever.
Originally posted by ironfist I hear ya...I'll be getting off for the first time in 16 months but it's just because i won't be able to make weight if I don't...
i dont get it ,do u guys who stay on all year, constantly switch from bulking to cutting, and you switching steroids that you use,are you making consistant gains in lean body mass, explain.
been on 25 weeks so far will go around 40 weeks, might cruise from there or take 2-3 mnths off, probably take off
The first 12 weeks was a standard bread and butter followed by 10 week cruise and cut,now into next 16 weeker to bulk, noticing the gains dont come as fast and furious as the first portion but will only truly be able to tell in the next 4-5 weeks when all the inj kick in.
cheers
p.s glad to see there are a few guys here that dont srtictly stick to the 10-12 week cycles, gives us some insight to being on longer AND RECOVERING,IMAGINE THAT:p
NO, staying on just allows you too maintian whatever gains you make and also better chance of permanence.
You lose some gains when come off, especially if you've reached your max potential, which means everyone's body has a kind of max that you can hold for a life time. Say you started out at 150 and over 2-3 years got too 210 and didn't gain after that. 210 may be the max your body can hold. Now with other stuff you could get too 270-280 if you won't when you come off though, most likely go back down to 210-220 area.
So, essentially a point is reached where unless you stay on and extremely discipline you cannot hold gains, thus reason why people stay on.
Here is my example of weight gain within an extended cycle:
Starting Lbs: 165
Month 1 on: 180
Month 2 on: 184
Month 3 on: 188
Month 4 on: 190
Month 5 on: 192
Finishing Weight after PCT: 185
I didn't plan on doing an extended cycle, but I really FELT like it was the right thing to do. The body really needs time to adjust to the increase in weight and for it to really set in.
I know nothing about any of this insanity... it's just a fun game to me.
