  • my slin routine?

    hi all,

    my cycle is set,now i am just finetuning my slin use.i have run two 3 weeks runs of 10iu postworkout (novorapid) before and to be honest i dont feel i gained much out of it other than feeling a little rounder and it did make me smooth.i feel i can get more out of it therefore want to incorporate it again at 4 weeks on 4 off pw.

    please if you can offer any tips to make it more effective and limit fat gain it would be appreciated as i am trying to put on as much mass as possible and believe if i can dial it in it will be invaluable.

    here it goes:
    pre workout shake: 5.00am
    40g whey protein
    50g oats (26g carbs,5g pro,3g fat)
    1 tbls honey

    post workout shake : 7.00am slin 10iu
    70g whey protein
    100g dextrose
    5g creatine
    5g glutimine
    1200mg hca
    taken 5 min before shot(shot taken in quad,delts or triceps)

    shake : sipped over next 2 hours
    70g whey pro

    meal 1 : 8.00am this may be replaced by shake of equal value.
    1 can tuna 40g pro
    100g dry oats (56g carbs,10g pro,5g fat)

    meal 2 : 9.30am
    40g pure protein mixed with
    100g oats (56g carbs,10g pro,5g fat) as a shake

    meal 3 : 11.30am
    1 can tuna 40g pro
    1 cup brown rice 50g carbs?i think
    salad

    meal 4 : 14.00
    40g pure protein
    100g oats (56gcarbs,10g pro,5g fat)
    1 x tbls flax 15g fat

    meal 5 : 16.30
    200g chicken 50g pro 10g fat
    1 cup brown rice 50g carbs
    salad with olive oil 15g fat

    meal 6 : 19.00
    200g steak 50g pro 10g fat
    sweet potatoe large 30g carbs
    steamed veges
    1 tbl flax 15g fat

    meal 7 : before bed
    pure protein 40g
    1 x tbls olive oil 15g fat

    protein : 515g - 2060cal
    carbs : 424g - 1696cal
    fats : 98g - 882cal
    total calories - 4638cal

    sorry just went ahead and listed my whole bulking diet

    well thats it,any suggestions will be appreciated.

    27yrs old,210lbs,10%bf.

      if you can stick to that thats great but IMO a strict routine like that creates dietary boredom and wicked cheat cravings. if you have the disipline to eat like that day in and day out thats great. as for the slin i havent been using it that long but i like to drink a shake with 80 grams of dex with whey as soon as i shoot post workout then an hour later eat a meal with a mix of high and low gi carbs and 40-50 grams of lean protein. are you using humalog?

        your going to inject slin directly into the muscle? (quad,tri,delt)??? this is a very dangerous approach because its harder to predict when the slin will hit you. it should be injected under the skin. go to the FAQ section and read the first article on slin titled "Insulin Facts"

          i didnt even see that. especially if you are not taking all your carbs at the time of the shot. go sub Q in the belly much safer.

            thanks guys,

            my slin at the moment is novorapid,i hit my shake before i shoot and yes it hits quite quick but so far i have it under control.the reason i dont shoot in the abs is the possibility of local fat deposits at the site,my mom has had diabetes coming on 47yrs now and she has suffered from this.i have also in my research come across that same point in a few articles.

            p.s i tried shooting postworkout 8iu on saterday morning,all well.then again 5hrs later i train again and hit another 8iu and for the next 4 hrs i felt like s*** serious s***.never again
