Nolvadex vs. Clomid

Which do you guys prefer for PCT? I have been reading alot about the two compounds lately and I have came to the conclusion that Nolvadex is the better PCT. Nolva. has a direct influence on bring back natural test. and nolva. also increases the responsivness of LH to GnRH. I have read, though, that clomid sorta decreases both. Also, for PCT you wouldnt have to take as much (quantity) of nolva. to get equal to or better effects then clomid. Thus, you wouldnt have to worry about clomids sides in high doses like "blurry vision" etc. You can also use HCG in conjuntion w/ nolvadex, opening the HPTA, dropping your little ones, producing LH and GnRH starting spermatogenesis again (getting you little swimmers back). It seems like if you pair the two, which I think you can/should, you would get the hole pair of shoes, instead of just one w/ clomid. Just an idea.

i run them both but if i had to choose just one...nolvadex hands down...Madmax

i use a combo but i would pick nolva if you only want one

Hi mate.

I can't really choose between them personally, I like them both. Maybe I would go with nolva, as I get slightly less visual disturbance with nolva.

BTW going off topic a bit..... There are no studies comparing the two in a manner that is helpful to us. People such as Mr Llewellyn etc, who write articles about clomid vs nolva, know no more than some new user doing his second cycle! No one knows for sure which is better. Not yet anyway!

When you guys combine them for PCT, what dosages do you do your PCT with?

I did the basic with clomid, 300 first day, 100 for 6 days and about 2 or so weeks with 50mg a day. I only ran the nolvadex for about I forgot the dosage, 2 pills a day.

Great thanks for the responses guys. I read this somewhere:

what would a post cycle look like with just nolvadex?

Coming off of HCG + liquidex, I ran 40mg nolva/100mg clomid for a week, then finished with 20/50.

Going past a week clomid fux my skin and my mood @ 100mg ED.

I might try 60day1, 40 for about 6 days, and 20 for 3-4 wks

50mg of nolva.=20mg of Clomid. So dropsbombs, I would do my normal clomid dosage for pct and convert using this.
Does anyone else have an opinion or research material on this?

I use both clomid and nolva for PCT.......... Nolva is always good to keep estrogen from rebounding when test levels are low making HPTA recovery harder. If I had to chose one over the other it would be clomid for HPTA recovery......

Also, you're not breaking out because of clomid you're breking out because of your hormones being whacked out after your cycles. I'm pretty much acne free durring the cycle when my levels are stable.

I have a question...... has anyone just used nolvadex for HPTA recovery? If so how much longer did it take to recover or was it the same as if using clomid?
