  • Help! Husband on roids and irritable and mean!

I really need some advice! My husband is doing a cycle, against my wishes of course. He is doing Deca and anavar and maybe something else as well. He has become so obsessed and he is very mean and crabby all of the time. He keeps denying that the steroids are the cause but I have known him for many years and he is not the same. We have a big life event coming up and he still seems more concerned with this stupid steroid stuff. I am very concerned for his health and our marriage. Does anyone know if these specific steroids can cause these terrible moods? He also has had trouble with past cycles as far as his health goes. You would think that one would learn from past bad experiences. What does it take to kill this obsession?

    Thanks!

for most, the obsession never dies. are you harassing him all the time about the roids? this could make him mean. roids can make some people a little more irritable than normal but it shouldnt be too extreme.

I'm pretty laid back and happy when I'm on. Maybe there's something else that's bothering him.

Thanks for the replies. My husband always says these boards are a great place to get info from. I am just trying to educate myself on this subject.

I have never done a real cycle, so I can not say anything about roids making a person meaner, but maybe you could get your husband to lower his dosages, maybe that would help calm him down

Some books say it does not change you, it just brings the inner you out x 100. so if he is a little moody it may be 100 fold on the stuff he is on! you might want to talk to him about it and tell him the problems and say you can do it but change to somthing else like just test!

You're doing the right thing by informing yourself! Most women wouldn't.

deca and anavar neither are very androgenic they shouldnt cause him to be more grumpy. i get a sense of well being while on which carries over to my attitude. deca actually lowers your natural test levels resulting in loss of libido and lethargy in some cases.
