Cardio and diet take off body fat. NOT STEROIDS. Steroids help creat an biological environment more optimal for burning fat.
Caloric defict burns fat.
As already said, winny will show more noticeable effects at lower bodyfat because there is less fat hiding dem muscles. So, the muscularity can be noticed more readily.

Abstract
Leptin, the product of the ob gene, is a polypeptide hormone expressed in adipocytes, which acts as a signalling factor from the adipose tissue to the central nervous system, regulating food intake and energy expenditure. It has been reported that circulating leptin levels are higher in women than in men, even after correction for body fat. This gender-based difference may be conditioned by differences in the levels of androgenic hormones.
To explore this possibility, a systematic in vitro study with organ culture from human omental adipose tissue, either stimulated or not with androgens (1 ĩmol/L), was undertaken in samples obtained from surgery on 44 non obese donors (21 women and 23 men). The assay was standardised in periods of 24 h, ending at 96 h, with no apparent tissue damage. Leptin results are expressed as the meanąs.e.m. of the integrated secretion to the medium, expressed as ng of leptin/g tissue per 48 h.
Spontaneous leptin secretion in samples from female donors (4149ą301) was significantly higher (P<0.01) than that from male donors (2456ą428). Testosterone did not exert any significant effect on in vitro leptin secretion in any gender (4856ą366 in women, 3322ą505 in men). Coincubation of adipose tissue with dihydrotestosterone (DHT) induced a significant (P<0.05) leptin decrease in samples taken from women (3119ą322) but not in those taken from men (2042ą430). Stanozolol, a non aromatizable androgen, decreased (P<0.05) leptin secretion in female samples (2809ą383) but not in male ones (1553ą671). Dehydroepiandrosterone sulphate (DHEA-S) induced a significant (P<0.01) leptin decrease in female samples (2996ą473), with no modifications in samples derived from males (1596ą528). Exposure to androstenedione also resulted in a significant reduction (P<0.01) of leptin secretion in samples taken from women (2231ą264), with no effect on male adipose tissue (1605ą544).
In conclusion, DHT, stanozolol, DHEA-S and androstenedione induced a significant inhibition of in vitro leptin secretion in samples from female donors, without affecting the secretion in samples from men. Testosterone was devoid of activity in any gender.

Multi-laboratory study of the analysis and kinetics of stanozolol and its metabolites in treated calves.

The European Union banned the use of anabolic steroids for cattle fattening in 1988. Analytical techniques able to detect trace amounts of the parent drugs and their metabolites are mandatory for the control of abuse. Stanozolol (Stan) is an anabolic steroid that is often found in injection sites and cocktails. However, it has never been detected in tissues (kidney fat, meat) or excreta (urine, faeces) taken during regulatory inspection. The difference between the structure of Stan and the other steroids (a pyrazole ring fused to the androstane ring system) is probably the cause of this phenomenon. In the multi-laboratory study described here, veal calves were treated with intramuscular doses of Stan. In the excreta of these calves the presence, absence and/or concentration of Stan and of its major metabolites 16 beta-hydroxystanozolol and 3'-hydroxystanozolol were determined. For the determination of these analytes the different laboratories used different extraction and clean-up procedures and also evaluated different analytical techniques such as GC-MS (negative chemical ionization) and LC-MS-MS. The aim of this investigation was to explore which analyte should be validated for veterinary inspection purposes.

Survey of the hormones used in cattle fattening based on the analysis of Belgian injection sites.
Vanoosthuyze K, Daeseleire E, Van Overbeke A, Van Peteghem C, Ermens A.
Laboratory of Food Analysis, University of Ghent, Belgium.
Although the illegal use of orally administered compounds in cattle fattening has gained popularity, injection sites are still frequently found during control experiments on the carcasses in the slaughterhouses. The high concentrations of hormones in injection sites enable screening for the presence of 39 different hormones by a simple extraction followed by a fast and simple high-performance thin-layer chromatography analysis. Analysis of injection-site tissue is particularly successful for determining the hormones that are illegally injected. This data can not be obtained by analysis of other biological matrices like faeces, kidney fat or urine, owing to metabolization and selective excretion and/or deposition of these compounds. Since 1989, over 2000 injection sites have been analysed in our laboratory, which yielded a good survey of the hormones that were illegally injected. Over this period, the natural hormones estradiol and testosterone (mostly present as their esters) have obviously been used extensively. It is clear that since 1990 clostebol acetate has remained the most abused exogenous hormone. Additionally, some distinct trends were noticed, e.g., a tendency towards a highly decreased use of nandrolone, an increased use of progesterone and an increased occurrence of certain androgens like stanozolol and fluoxymesterone.

Sorry, I just don't not see the relationship between winny not working and being fat. If your muscles are covered up by alot of fat it doesn't matter what drug you are using - you will still look fat.

Exactly. It had no effect whatsoever in leptin levels in males at all which means it doesn't have anything to do with binding to fat cells. This study doesn't say anything about stanazolol binding to fat cells.
Since it is a dht derivative what is does when taken at a good enough doseage on it's own and not for a long time as to suppress natural test levels too much is that it increases the androgenic content without upping estrogen content(it has been shown to be anti-estrogenic actually) which actually helps the body burn fat better.Being defeated is sometimes only a temporary condition. Yes but if you notice my first post I said it was "quite possible", I didn't say it was guaranteed. Hold on while I pedal back, lol.
