  • What do u change?

I got 2 weeks till i start my cycle. This will be my first cycle, and I don't want to make a lot of mistakes while on. I got my diet in check, supplements, such as ALA, milk thistle, etc.... My main question is about training. What do you guys change while on cycle on your training program? I've seen juiceheads at the gym going in there and almost doing every bodypart eod!!! To me that is overkill!! My buddy would train 2 bodyparts a day, next day rest. On rest days he would just do cardio. This is what i'm shooting for: Give me your opinions

    Mon: Legs/calves included
    Tues: Cardio/Abs: Stairclimber for 30-45min
    Wed: Chest/Shoulders
    Thurs: Cardio/Abs: Stairclimber for 30-45min
    Fri: Back/Arms/caves
    Sat: Cardio/Abs: Stairclimber for 30-45min
    Sun: OFF

What do you all think? Any changes in my schedule? What does yours look like? As of right now, i do one bodypart/day mon-fri, hitting calves 2x. Should i stick to the same routine, or does the above one sound better? I would figure that the above one would give me more time to rest........Thanx for any replies!

    Looks pretty good to me.

Why do you train calves 2x? Trying to catch them up or something?

Yes, my legs/calves are my lagging body parts. I was thinking of hitting legs 2x as well, but due to my natural recovery from my quads/hams, i still feel them weak for more than 3 days. At least i know i'm doing good on intensity! So i don't wanta over train them. Thanx again.

As far as my diet, i will not be "one of those" that will eat everything in sight. I will be keeping a high calorie, but extremely clean diet. I don't wanta put on XTRA fat on top of what i have right now! he he............

Funny, I'm exactly the opposite. My lower body is way bigger than my upper body.

Lots of rest, water, and a good diet will improve recovery times. The gear may help a little as well. This is something that is different for every person, and something that you'll have to play by ear. But overall, I think you've got a solid schedule and are good to go.

I personally don't think you're lifting enough. 3 days a week (not counting abs)? Natural is one thing, but when you've got some juice flowin through them veins...

Not to mention that the more things you do in a single day the more certain body parts suffer as you get to tired to go full force in your workout.

Bust most importantly, if it works for you, then go for it! Good luck.

Abs will be done on cardio days, which are tues/thurs/sat....
My schedule as of now is as follows:

              Mon: Legs
              Tues:Chest/Tri's/calves
              Wed:Bi's/forearms
              Thurs: Shoulders/Traps
              Fri: Back
              Sat: calves

I incorporate abs 2-3x per week. Should i stick to this schedule? I know it's about trial and error and everyone is different. I've been getting decent gains on this type of workout schedule, but 5 days in a row of pounding weights seems to wear me out! I wish i could have a rest day in between, but i can't. Plus, maybe shocking my body w/another type of program will be a good response from my muscles. We'll see.......I'll have u posted......just wanted some opinions.......thanx!

i dont like doing tris and chest together ( except for a change)
as they work together and the second muscle is tired by the time you finish the first.
                well thats my 2 cents

Looks pretty good. Similar to my schedule except you do more cardio and abs.

                  Mine looks like this -

                  Monday - Rest

Tuesday - Chest, Triceps, Shoulders, Abs

                  Wednesday - Legs

                  Thursday - Rest

Friday - Back, Biceps, Forearms, Abs

                  Saturday & Sunday - Rest

*On my rest days usually on Thursday's I will attend my fighting classes.(Krav Maga) This Fall and winter I will go as well on Tuesday night after work. This is my my form of cardio and I don't do anything else.
