Not really, I added an 'i' in. But thanks for correcting my spelling, having viewed some of your old posts, its a good thing you're a good speller, you dont know much else
Originally posted by YellowJacket Its actually "YellowJacket" and I think the post speaks for itself. You said "you might want to reconsider buying whey protein" and defended it with what? If you're discrediting whey protein based on that article, I suggest you get a basic handle on nutrition before you attempt to help others. This article changes nothing for me. What I pastes was self explainatory. Im not sure if english is your first language but you did a poor job of adequately expressing what you wanted answered.
*** First off, 'YellowJacket,' if pointing out spelling errors makes you feel better about yourself then I'm truely happy for you, no really, I am.
Secondly, it seems that you're either A: out to left field on this one, or B: you're dumb. Now, I doubt your dumb, so lets go with A, ok? Great.
Now, let me break it down to you in very plain and simple english so that you do not have to resort to the common "english must not be your first language" excuse.
When I said, "you might want to reconsider buying whey protein,"
that was meant to imply that whey protein may not be the end all be all as many gym rats feel it is.
If you had read my second post, you would have read this,"The point of the article was to debunk the myth that whey protein is superior to casein protein."
The point of this article was to open peoples minds up. That is what a good writer does. Are you familiar with Robert Thoburn? If not, might I suggest you take a look over at the AvantLabs forum or check out this month's Wannabebig Roundtable.
Last, but definitely not least, what you pasted I refuted. That you can not ignore. You still have not come up with an explanation with my rebuttal. Instead, it seems you are displaying the classic
"Straw man" position.
"The straw man fallacy is when you misrepresent someone else's position so that it can be attacked more easily, knock down that misrepresented position, then conclude that the original position has been demolished. It's a fallacy because it fails to deal with the actual arguments that have been made."
Yellowjacket, I can not openly discuss or debate something if you fail to defend your empty posts. That being said, I feel that this thread has run it's course since you willnot/or can not provide me with your own line of thinking on this subject.
Coming in and posting someone elses thoughts on a subject does not mean anything except that it is someone elses line of thinking. I am asking for your thoughts, not a copy and paste which you so often do. It really means nothing to me unless you can back it up.
The article was good, like I said, not something totally new to most, but good none the less. That was my statement. I simply thought you would like to view someone else's input on it, so I pasted something Nandi said over. Not to say those were my words.
As for the comment about be pasting things all the time, you could learn a lot from them all...
