under 50 grmas of carbs for how long? being that low deplete your muscle glycogen stores. most bbers i know dont go below 100 for long. only when they carb deplete the week before the show.
have you seen anyone who was on the atkins diet?? they lost weight, but their muslce are smooth and flat

Keeping under 50g carbs is not difficult at all! Do you like meat? Cheese? Nuts, green veggies? I did a keto diet for about a week to loose some quick bodyfat. Keto was as close to ZERO carbs as possible and I did great. I mean think about it, you can eat sausage, egg whites, steak, chicken, Tuna, there's a LOT of things to eat without carbs.
Pro's do it all the time. They do cyclical Ketogenic Diets (CKD) where they go zero carbs M-F and carb up on the weekends. Check out Dan Duchaine's Body Opus for a good read about it.
