  • what does everyone take

    after a workout? what kind of shake and why? i got some of the new ON whey but it has lil bit of carbs in it . so should i be taking this after a workout of something with some sugar carbs in it ?

    Optimum is pretty low carb considering other powders. I dont thikn 4-5 carbs will kill you. I have been taking Optimum's 100% whey with a 1/2 cup of crushed oatmeal as my carb source. If Im in a hurry, Ill have Optimum's 100% whey with 25g of malto and 25g of dextrose.

      before i was taking NLARGE2 BY PROLAB PER SERVING 86 carbs with 28 sugar 52 protein now ON whey 3 carbs and 1 gram of sugar with 23 protein so which would be better after a workout ?

                              a bro today in the gym told me cause i brought up this converion ...he said he takes his protein then chases it down with two tablespoons of pure sugar and lil water...ever heard of this ? damn
