So what i have done over the past 4 years is bulk up over the winter months and then dedicate 12-14 weeks to getting as close as I can to competitive form and then take pictures, mainly so that every year I can look back and see my progress. Last year when I finished cutting up and had pictures taken I weighed in at 197. This year I felt like my BF was lower and I was definatley more vascular, plus I weighed in at 205. Goal accomplished .

Congrats bro - your progress really is amazing! The thing that turns me off about competing is the amount of drugs you must take to stay competitive. To compete on a national level, it is insane! I have buddy that competes nationally and he takes the same amount of drugs in 2 or 3 weeks that I do in an entire cycle.

    Keep up the good work!
The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.

Intensity, its amazing how I bust my ass to cut up, keep a clean diet for a few months afterwords, and then over a 3 month period I can put on a shit load of BF, just from not be very strict with my diet. I have put so much into getting the cutting part right, like I said this is the 4th year in a row that ive done this, Im going to work on getting the clean bulking part down. My metabolism is very slow and eating bad kills me, carbs such as white bread kills me. If I can only keep the BF down while bulking, cutting will be alot easier.

I guess the upside is (assuming this applies to you), most of the people I know who can put on a shitload of BF quickly can also put on a shitload of muscle mass quickly too.

indeed, i'm an endomorph. gaining weight is easy and i get strong as hell when i bulk. but man it takes a VERY strict diet in order to stay lean. if i let myself get to fat in the winter (like i did this year, peaking out at almost 240, 18% BF) it takes a long time to cut it all back down.

It is a *****, but than again its only 12 weeks, tough it out and get the job done. The thing that I found helped out with me, was picking a date, I picked an exact date of 12 weeks in the future, marked it on the calender, and scheduled to have pics taken that day. This keeps me motivated, I take it as if I was competing and that is competition day. This also helped me with avoiding cheat meals.

I do put on weight very easy and get strong as hell while bulking, and this year while cutting, I feel that I did better than the previous years with keeping my strength and muscle. Im working with different people right now trying to put a diet together to help me with my bulking diet, I'll be trying different things, mainly staying away from sugars and sweets.

Dude, I'm 305 28%bf right now, I hear ya about being an endomorph. I'm hoping in three months I can look half as good as shear. I've been taking photos every monday for the past month and will continue for three months I'll post transition pics at the end along with diet, cycles, training regimen.

Thanks again for the inspiration shear!

I started off just taking protein alone post cardio, but I felt I was losing muscle, so I added in 1/2 C oats and felt that it worked a lot better. I would usually wait about 30 mins after I was done cardio.

My bad Bull, no milk, no fruit juice, and no fruits, none of these at all for 12 weeks, not even a sip of milk or a sip of OJ, the only thing that I did have was an apple maybe once or twice a week on my way into the gym, chest day or leg day, my hardest days, but to tell you the truth I couldnt tell a difference with or without it, so next season, no apple either .

I really suck at using my home scanner, I end up screwing the pics up that I scan, but heres one that came out pretty decent. It really doesnt show how cut I was, probably because I cant pose to save my ass.

Heres a pic that I forgot that I took myself with my digital about half way through my diet. If you compare it to the first pic I posted its shows pretty good progress. I didnt take anymore ab shots with the digital after this one, I should have taken one every 2 weeks, but my camera started acting up on me.
