The thing that gets me is when someone post something, and someone comes along with some witty one liner like, (looks great man, Nice, Give me so of that bro). Wow we all know it "looks great" and "you and some" but lets just read the post and keep those thoughts to yourself. No need for the extra posts to shuffle through to get to the good info.

Ok now, on a serious note....

Why don't those people who give out advice post a picture of themselves to show their knowledge of the game and their work ethic? Then the members could decide who they should listen to.

        We're starting with you YellowJacket...

              What's your thing with YJ?

Are you hiding under a nic and from another board or something?

I've read numerous posts by YJ, and his posts are very informative and insightful.

Personally, I couldn't care less if he or any of the other knowledgeable bros on here are 5'2 and 80lbs or 6' 280. Some of the most knowledgeable people in this game (i.e. Dan Duchaine) weren't 'fantastic bodybuilders.' Yet, if you listen to some of the crowned Mr. Olympias of past years speak, it's obvious some aren't amongst the brightest stars in the sky.

              If you get my gist...

But from your attitude, I'm guessing you haven't quite reached the legal drinking age, or voting age, for that matter.

The YJ thing...he was rude in another thread. No big deal.

In reference to all the "gurus"...you know the guys who don't know anything, but spew out tons of advice...they are just like arm-chair quarter backs in sports. I knew sooner or later the bodybuilding/ fitness industry would see them as well.

As for my age, I am old enough to be a University Professor....
                SO BACK THE FUCK OFF!!!!

As for the thread in question, that may be so, or may not be so. I can't comment as I haven't seen the thread. But let me get this right. You have disagreements with him, so you decide to engage in immature, little games?

Really shows your high maturity level, 'Professor'

I totally agree I have been here since day1 but because I dont even have 500 posts newbies will ignore my replies and wait for a socalled vet to give their advice which is usually a smilie or a statement like "yes you can drink winny". This is why I think general discussion posts should not count. I also agree it is BS to have a good thred pushed to the bottom because some people are obsessed with their post count.
This is exactly what I'm talking about. There are a lot of guys on this board who are knowledgable and are gonna have good advice, but sometimes a newbie may take the bad advice because he thinks the guy with thousands of posts is a vet, and he must know what he's talking about. I'm not puting anyone down, it's just something that I've seen on this board for a long time. Even back in 2000 when the fitnessboard started up, it seemed like there was always an abundance of newbie post *****s who knew EVERYTHING. Granted this board is new and a lot of these guys will get board and fade away, then you'll know who the true vets are, but untill then newbies need to be careful who they get thier advice from.

On a side note it's nice to see some of the old handles still around. Some people just can't stay away.

(That would be nice to have seperate post counts for each forum! geared?)
Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence.

I got a better idea, why dont you fold up your tent and move off of my nuts kid, you've shit talked in 2 threads now, so you've obviously got beef with me beyond what meets the eye, and the fact you've registered a new name to talk shit shows exactly how spineless you are. This isnt a board of flames, so if you have personl shit you would like solved, feel free to PM me, otherwise, you in over your head.

On a side note- when muscles equal knowledge, you give me a call.

Take your differences to the PM. This thread wasn't intended on being a bash war, and it wasn't directed to one particular person, just something everyone should consider when giving or taking advice.
