Yup, it's normal. To go from off-season to decently cut, you'll have to give up 1/2 to 1in on your arms usually. Don't worry, if you did it right, most of that was just fat Though I do hate seeing the scale and measurements go down, so now I usually just go by looks!

My point exactly... it's who LOOKS the best, not who has the biggest measurements or weighs the most. Give it hell bro, and be that ripped mofo that steals all the fine *****es

hang in. when I diet, arm measurement is the first to go. just maintain as much muscle as possible, don't overtrain, keep your protein way up. when your overall bodyfat gets to where you want it, your arms will look plenty big

For me, leg strength is the first thing to go when I diet, though size remains the same. For instance, off-season, I leg-press 1000lbs for reps... dieted down now, I have trouble with 600 My legs have barely lost 1in though, so very little was muscle. It's just a thing that happens. Also, you could try dieting with juice, help preserve as much muscle as possible

everyone is a little different. when I was competing natural, leg strength went early, too. when i throw in the winstrol now in the last 4 weeks, my strength stays almost all the way up but I lose a bit of size. The numbers definitely go down, however, as the carbs go down pre contest...
