    Chrysin is a naturally occurring isoflavone extracted from the plant passiflora coerulea. Honeycomb also contains small amounts of chrysin, and chrysin can be found in small amounts in the body. Also known as Flavone X, Chrysin is a multi-pathway formulation that is suggested to play a role in limiting aromatase activity - the conversion of testosterone into estrogen. Maintaining healthy hormone levels is important for general health and for progress during fitness goals. Chrysin may help in supporting healthy testosterone-estrogen ratios in the body for both men and women. Chrysin has been shown in scientific studies to have dramatic anti-estrogenic effects decreasing estrogen production in some subjects as much as 92%. Scientific studies show that flavones (primarily chrysin) may exert a wide variety of powerful effects. Specifically, studies done in Europe show that after supplementing with chrysin blood serum levels of testosterone went up a whopping 30%! How does this work? There are two major hormones in both guys and gals: testosterone and estrogen. Testosterone is dominant in guys and estrogen is dominant in gals--duh! But interestingly, estrogen seems to be a signal to the pituitary gland in the brain. Based on estrogen levels, the pituitary turns on or off testosterone production. The higher the estrogen levels, the lower the amounts of testosterone will be produced. This is where chrysin comes in! Chrysin basically reduces estrogen levels by cutting down on its conversion from testosterone. Is also known as Flavone X, is structurally defined as 5, 7-dihydroxyflavone. Human tissue experiments with this monoflavone demonstrated the ability to limit aromatase activity. Aromatase is an enzyme that is found in various tissues within the body and is responsible for the conversion of androstenedione and testosterone into estrogen. This conversion is utilized by the body to keep Testosterone: Estrogen ratios in balance. When athletes are in quest of increasing lean body mass, maximizing serum testosterone levels is of paramount concern. What kind of results can I expect from supplementing with Chrysin 750?
