  • Electrolytes, what's your source?

I try to drink a couple Propels a day, with all the water I drink I know I loose a lot of electrolytes. Propel is probably not the best source for them, but that's typically drink to replace them. What's your replacement?

I just eat a fairly balanced diet. I feel that unless you are loosing 5#s of water in a workout which in a BB workout you will not unless working in a 100 degree place then it is not needed.

That said I do take a magnesium supp the night before I train.

        Re: Electrolytes, what's your source?

I know i need a better source for my electrolyte intake during the day. 4 out of 5 work days I spend on my feet walking a lot, in hot buildings most of the time and I sweat a good bit. I typically drink 1-1.5 gallons of water a day, but that doesn't replenish what I loose when i sweat and of course when go to the bathroom. Finding a good source isn't difficult, it the trial and error that takes the longest. I used to use a product called Rehydrate, but I learned it had filler in it and for the cost of it I could not see the point it using it.

I like the feedback, hope to see more post up about this.
