Besides the fact that it requires focus and help relieve an anxious moment, there are many benes to this. Even though our daughter wonders WTF I am doing when she hears me exhaling,lol, I have a feeling she will do the same one day. Anyone do deep breathing for relaxation?

I have to tell you that it has strengthened my bas and i can see them even better. This with added clean eating and exercise has def helped my coreVeritas Vos Liberabit

This is how I do it... Deep breath through nose expanding chest and abdomen, hold for 4...then exhale through mouth (pursed lips). sucking in belly (like you said) with a count for 10. By the time I reach 10 I am touching my spine,lol. I usually do about 10 reps at a timeVeritas Vos Liberabit

never heard of that technique before. between rounds during sparring practice coach tells us to breathe all the way out and all the way in rather than fast shallow breaths to recover in the 1 minute before the next round. i will try this belly breathing to maximize this.
