  • T levels are tanked...

This was not a surprise to me but I had some levels done about 6 months ago. Pretty much done with woman stuff so now is probably the best time to replace. I did get the same old stuff from the endo.."Normal for your age", blah blah blah

    TESTOSTERONE, TOTAL
    7.1 ng/dL
    Reference Range:
    8-60

    TESTOSTERONE, FREE 0.12 ng/dL
    Reference Range:
    0.06-0.95
    FSH 25.6 m[IU]/mL

Thyroid levels are still better with antibodies still elevated but I will not take those meds.

    ESTRADIOL 58 pg/mL

Have a protocol I want to do but have to check with Fuzo first. One more try with a diff doc and if no support, I am on my own.

My lady buddy does 50mg of test Cyp a week. This does not sound much but she stays lean and healthy at 55. Not sure what the "official" HRT protocol for a woman starts at, men is around 100 to 200mg a week.

that's a pretty hefty dose starting off. did she start lower and work her way up to that for optimal levels? i would lean more toward maybe 10-20 and work from there with bloods and feel. that is if the doc wouldnt do it for you

cyp is my plan and starting off where you said, guns. I have been reading a lot about doing it subq with a slin pin but Fuzo mentioned it may be harder getting that oil through the pin.

we use 29g slin pins for some of what we do with oil and have no issues. i would steer clear of sub q though. it is going to be tender as all hell and increases the risk of infection. think about what it looks and feels like when you go in between a muscle and how nasty that usually ends up.

My ex wife did a dose of 50mg a week. She was 25 at the time. I told her not to, but she did, and to say the least she had all sorts of problems. Her voice lowered, she was getting puffy in the face...etc.
I'm sure I'm not telling you anything u don't already know, but be careful with the dose baby. Good luck and keep us posted

My friend has to take T-3, her thyroid does function correctly. She does have a lower voice and she use to compete years ago in bodybuilding plus powerlifting. She is 5-7 120 now below 10 percent body fat. So the 50mg is on the higher side because of her thyroid problems (or maybe she just likes a higher T level) but her blood work is "good" she tells me.

haha, i know ladies that are the exact same way as that as well man. all former competitors and they all go a little on the higher side to hit optimum levels.

is it different subq with this or just any subq shots in general? I have given myself many subq shots in my stomach with other hormones before. When I took hormones IM, it always took more amounts of the hormone to achieve the levels the doc wanted me to be at. Now this was years ago so maybe my body is different now?

Thyroid issues here as well but will not take the meds.

in my experience and knowing a few people trying it with test it has never went very well. painful knots slower than optimal release etc..... you may be able to pull it off but i dont know anyone that has had success with sub q test usage. if it isnt painful and doesnt linger you may be good to go though.
