  • Does anyone here use nootropics?

The whole nootropic thing really intrigues me. I started researching and using them about 2 years ago. I started with the basics ALCAR, Choline Bitartrate, herbals and my 1st racetam was Piracetam. It was just a matter of testing them on myself and seeing which ones actually worked for me.

For me my perfect stack would be:
    A. PRL853 for the memory boost and recall.
    B. SEMAX or noopept for to boost my creativity and concentration.I am able to perceive colors and objects in HD fashion. I really like Semax vs noopept
    C. Phenylpiracetam, Modafinil, Armodafinil to boost mental focus.

PRL 8-53 can be traced back to one individual, Dr. Nikolaus Hansl of Creighton University. He discovered and patented the compound in the 1970s. A single study in humans was reported in 1978. The double-blind trial of PRL-8-53 in 47 healthy volunteers measured its effects on a variety of cognitive measures. 5 mg of the drug was administered orally 2–2.5 hours before the study tasks.Overall improvements in recollection differed based on how many words were recalled under placebo, with the poor performers (six words or fewer) experiencing a 87.5-105% increase in recollection and the high performers (eight or more words) a 7.9-14% increase which failed to reach statistical significance; when controlling for subjects over the age of 30 only, a 108-152% increase was noted. No side effects were reported during the trial.

This makes PRL 8-53 a fantastic nootropic for students or anyone else going through a learning process. It’s shown even more improvements in individuals with existing memory conditions or who may have had a below average memory to begin with. Other, less official sources report that PRL 8-53 can provide relief for victims of amnesia in a single dose.

The effect of 3-(2-benzylmethylaminoethyl) benzoic acid methyl ester hydrochloride (PRL-8-53) on learning and on retention of verbal information in human subjects was investigated. Using the serial anticipation method under double-blind conditions it was found that PRL-8-53 causes slight improvement …

    PRL853 Review

PRL853 is crazy for memory recall. It helps me to memorize information better and provides noticeable increases in ability to recall information. Here is an example. I am doing a kitchen bid proposal and going over all the different finishes. Instead of constantly looking at my notes, I am able to I remember almost all of ideas. The best part about this is my client notices this too.

After trying different dosages, I now use 10mgs. It kicks in quick and taste horrible.

PRL-8-53 is the most effective short-term memory enhancer available with research behind it. There is another compound called PRL8147. The whole story of it is very interesting.

Dr Hansl who discovered PRL853 also synthesized a more potent version of PRL 8-53 called PRL 8-147. In a clinical study by Nikolaus Hansl, volunteers who used PLR 8-147 displayed an improvement in verbal memory of 80%. This backs up earlier studies which have found similar boosts to memory from the drug. These benefits aren’t just limited to verbal memory either. One study exposed subjects to various geometric patterns, which they were later asked to draw from memory. As in previous studies, PLR 8-147 had a significant impact on the ability of the subjects to complete the task. Further studies using PLR 8-147 showed it to also improve the ability to perform mental math.

When Dr. Hansl died, the patents for his compounds and all of his research documents were left to his family, not a company, research facility, or school. A group of users on Reddit reached out to Dr. Hansl’s family to find out more about either of the compounds. They discovered that in addition to having a personal stash of PRL 8-147, Dr. Hansl’s daughter has a garage full of research and documentation.

They've always intrigued me. I was researching them a while back, but hadn't really pursued it. I have to do a lot of memorization and recall data at work all day which is why they piqued my interest. Sometimes I can't even remember what i had for breakfast much less hundreds of lines of data lol.

Aniracetam is good stuff. Take 750mgs with food 2 xday. Noopept spray is great as well. Phenylpiracetam, Adrafinil, Modafinil, Armodafinil or even plain old caffeine tabs will help boost mental stimulation
