I joke about drinking but i havent had a drop in a long time. I have noticed positives in the gym. I am not working thru a hang over or trying to get back to where i was rather than progressing forward.
The article says to me exercise is good, so it can help make the bads from drinking less bad. Well, if you just exercise and dont drink there will be no bads and more goods.
what's funny is in my much much much younger years, i had some of my best squat and dead lift sessions after a long night of super hard drinking. probably didnt net any progress off of them at all but i def killed it for sure. if i tried that today i would probably tear something off the bone and fall over dead at the same time

i actually have all of those session written in my training logs. i even noted the amounts we drank and how much sleep i got that night. them days i was squatting up to 650 or more for 6-8 reps. so yeah you are def right in the great aspects of youth. man looking back i was about stupid as they come and i am very lucky i never got really hurt or died. 10 more years and i am going to be riding a rascle motorized chair to the gym from all that stupidity lol

Re: Exercise and Alcohol Consumption – Do They Mix?
Interesting article for sure! It is a fermented beverage BUT much better ways to consume those. Have a Kombucha! I can say I was never a drinker nor have evr been drunk. Yes this was good but the shit I saw others doing may have been more damaging, lol
