Looking for a drink that will make your body feel wonderful? Beet Kvass is truly a wonder drink. It is commonly made from rye bread, but can also be made with berries, honey, and beets. Our drink is made with beets, sea salt, and the juice from fermented pickles. Enjoy one 4-ounce glass of beet kvass in the morning and one again in the evening. This super drink is an excellent blood tonic, liver cleanser, digestive regulator, and blood alkalizer.
Chef Tip: If you do not have probiotic pickle juice, you can double the salt. You will want to leave in a dark area longer, test after 5 days.

Ingredients
- 3 medium size beets
- ¼ cup juice from probiotic pickles
- 1 tablespoon sea salt
- Filtered water
- 2 quart Mason Jars or a glass half gallon jar
Instructions
- Peel and wash your beets.
- Chop beets into medium size pieces.
- Place beets in bottom of your jars. 1/2 into one jar, 1/2 into another, or all into a half gallon.
- Now add your pickle juice and salt.
- Fill jar with your water.
- Cover with a coffee filter and secure with a rubber band.
- Keep in a dark place for 2 days.
- Place in your refrigerator.
- Drink 4 ounces in the morning and 4 ounces before bed.
