ALA and CLA

  • ALA and CLA

    first, when is the optimal time to take both these supplements? second, on a low-carb diet, in a cutting phase, is it beneficial to take these supplements at the same time? should i only use one?

    I am not sure about the CLA,i havent used it but the ALA would be best taken with meals and with your after workout shake.IMO

      you can use both. Take the ALA when you consume carbs. Depending on your diet, take the CLA with a meal, (preferably one without many carbs) or mix in a protein shake (but not post-workout).

        I've heard CLA is a waste. ALA should be taken with your carb meals.

          CLA is decent in large amounts. A CLA/Green Tea is a kick ass natural fat loss stack. Dont look to drop 20lbs of fat in 8 weeks, but its a start.

            i use cla for its omega 6 intake and health benefits, not fatloss. Stacked with flaxseed oil and ala or r-ala u got a nice health kick. (i also take milk thistle and garlic pills).

                  I like CLA (10grams x 1) but found that ALA (500mg x 2 ) makes me retain water around the waist.
