Matcha green tea

I have been seeing this recently and reading about it. Was going to try some from Trader Joes but it had other things in it that I cant have. Has anyone tried it? I might order this one below and try it

green tea give me the jungle poopies bad, i mean really bad. i am also concerned with what i already do and green tea impacting the liver a bit in some people

yea, i've read that the concentrated extract can be hard on the liver. i don't really understand how as i always thought green tea was good for us. maybe too much of a good thing type deal? or a flawed study or contaminated batch(es)?

yeah it is the concentration of the ekcg or whatever it is in the green tea. from the stuff i have seen it takes quite a bit but in the game we are in we already put stress on our bodies as is. i actually know a young mid 20s dude that goes to my gym that had his liver shut down and they said it was from the green tea supp he was taking. crazy the dude was more yellow than a freaking school bus and they told him he was going to die. he bounced back kind of but he still doesnt have full liver function back today. this thread just made me think of that

Some people think that just cause something is 'natural" organic or good for you that more is better. So not true.

yeah man dude was in icu for like 3 months. i want to say he is only 22-23. his liver literally stopped working completely. they brought his family down and told him it was even to late for a transplant. they got a crazy surprise though cause he came back a little bit but then again he was handled by military medicine. i cant even explain how yellow he was when the last time i saw him. it was nuts. i guess it's a good thing he was super young and never drank or did anything other than the green tea crap

Just crazy! Did he have something else going on? I mean I know people that drink green tea by the gallon daily!

nope active duty marine, young with no health issues whatsoever. he started the supp up for a few months and then turned yellow went in to the doc and they put him in the hospital immediately. the color change and stuff happened almost over night. it was freaking crazy
