Interesting. Apparently there is no science to support paleo and it is another fad. I know a lot of cross fit people who are all about paleo

I knew a group of fat people (they are roomates and all pretty big) They do not work out AT ALL and are now doing this paleo crap. I agree its a fad. "diets" dont work eating clean does. IMO there is no one diet that will work you need a mixture of everything with certain foods geared towards your goal.
I never meant to be better than anyone, I was just born that way. Its hard being a god amongst peasants!

The theory is nice and you can base some of your diet goals on it but realistically it doesn't make sense. They want to say you only eat what early hunter gathers would eat. Well depending on where in the world your talking about that varies wildly!

What also doesn't make sense is assuming hunter gatherer wouldn't jump at the chance to eat something different..what they are was out of shear survival mechanism.

you can achieve weight loss with in a calorie deficient state pretty much regardless of what you eat. now with that said, a cal def with exercise will increase the rate of weight loss. now here is the the million dollar statement: in order to maintain a bf % that is optimal the diet must be flexible and enjoyable. their is no secret or magic diet but fat and lazy people are stupid and are always looking for the easiest and tastiest way to cheat the system of weight loss. again you must be take in less cals than your body needs in order to loss weight and regardless of what you consume impacts that effect for the most part. now my above statement has zero validity to what we as bbers and athletes do in our diets. we strive to maintain as much lean muscle mass as possible while stripping away body fat, so what you consume does have an impact on fat loss not weight loss.

do you rub in the fact that cave men didnt have cakes and pies or pastries? i also dont ever recall seeing a jacked or buff cave man either come to think about it. if you think about it they pretty much did what the animals did, they gorged themselves all spring summer and fall while their was a huge abundance of food. that allowed a significant store of bf for the cold winter months. then they tended to lean out over the winter from lack of certain foods. hum, that kind of sounds like the opposite of what most of us do. we bulk and get puffy in the winter and get jacked and tan in the summer. i am going to start a new paleo plan myself. i am going to call it my "winter time famine paleo plan" starve yourself keto style to get lean like a cave man in the winter time
