i workout and do cardio at the same time .if i workout late should i still drink the carb and protein shake or would i be better off just eating protein.wanting to lose BF im 19% want to get down to10% by summer.i do one bodypart per day multi set then after that i try to do 45 min.cardio.should i do this much cardio everyday.thanksfor any help.

If possible, try to get your cardio done first thing in the AM. Empty stomach and 20-30 mins of cardio, assuming you are at the ideal Heart Rate during that time, you will shed the BF% quickly.
IF YOU CAN'T DO CARDIO IN THE AM THE NEXT BEST TIME TO DO IT WOULD BE RIGHT AFTER YOUR WEIGHT SESSION, THIS WAY YOUR MUSCLES WILL BE DEPLETED OF GLYCOGEN. RIGHT BEFORE YOU START YOUR CARDIO TAKE SOME ALA PILLS AND AS SOON AS YOUR DONE SLAM THE CARB/PROTEIN SHAKE. IF YOUR DOING CARDIO ON A DAY WITHOUT WEIGHTS THAN JUST GO FOR THE PROTEIN SHAKE. MAKE SURE AND TAKE SOME GLUTAMINE AND AMINO ACIDS BEFORE YOUR WEIGHT TRAINING WORKOUT.YOUR DIET IS REAL IMPORTANT TOO, WHAT ARE YOU FOLLOWING?
how much ALA should i take in a day milligrams wise im gettin my ALA from iceman.trying to get in to the high protein low carb diet.i dont want to lose all my size my legs are pretty good and they are usuallythe first to go every year when i start cutting then i end up gettin burned out.THANKS for any help!!

some people take 500mg per carb meal while others go for 1gram per carb meal.if i'm on strictly no carbs except post workout, than i'll take 1gram 20 min before i down the shake. other wise i take 500 mg before every meal that has some carbs in it

if you are trying to hit ketosis, i woudl recommend saving your ala for your carb-up days, i think ala prevents you from hitting ketosis
ideally you want to seperate cardio and lifting as much as possible. if you are going to do cardio after lifting, then after you finish lifting drink say 1/3 your shake and take an extra 5g glutamine, then as soon as you finish cardio down the rest of the shake.
