  • Protein calcs

Competitors and nutrition gurus!!!... When adding up your macro nutrient numbers do you only count complete proteins or do you add in all of them? I'm counting cals and macronutrients for the first time ever during this winter bulker and my protein totals came out to 421 gms. The large majority of that is meat, egg, milk, whey protein (well over 300) but then there is about a hundred gms or so from nuts, avocados, and all the other misc. foods. My current weight is about 195 and I was shooting for around 2 gms/ lb which I'm at if I'm counting those incomplete proteins... Just over 1 1/2 gms/ lb if I don't. Carbs came in at 340 gms and total cals was 5600. Haven't calced the fat yet.

I calculate all of them, if your diet is well rounded those incomplete proteins will be used just fine.

I count them, plants proteins aren't as high quality tho, I get about 400g from meat/whey and the rest from whats in carbs/veggies.

421 is great, you won't have a problem growing on that.
