  • The truth about creatine??

Hey guys i like yall's site.. I used to frequent another board and i think this one blows it away...Ok lets get down to buisness..I have lifted weights off and on for a few years..I want the true story on creatine...Ok here the questions come.
    1. Does caffenine affect the effectivness of creatine..I have read pros and cons of this matter. could you guys tell me the truth.
    2. Will putting it in grape juice or some other type help spike lnsulin levels or some other postive response as compared to just putting it in water.
    3. I heard that theres no real reason to "load" up...True or False..
    4. Should you use more or less than the recommend dosage and will it be any kind of determining factor.

    P.S.
if any of you guys have any kind of sure-fire approach to maxmizing the effectivness of creatine for the best results...please drop me a few hints.

    Thanks alot

#1. to my knowledge no it doesn't
#2. I would just mix it with water but your creatine needs to have some sort of transport system.
#3. really know reason to load up. only reason to is it will make weight jump quick but its all water retention. you get the same effects both ways just without loading it takes a couple more weeks.
    #4. just 5mg a day is plenty.
    my only email is lsutigerfan@cyber-rights.net
The only screenname I use is LSU777.

Low levels of caffine should not effecti t too much.
Grape juice is ok dextrose is better and cheaper for thinsulin spike.
Loading just makes it start working a little faster so there is really no need.
      5-10 mgs is plenty.
Tips: ALA seem to help the effectiveness for me. Take it post workout within 1 hour. Used a creapure product such as prolab. Drink at least 1 1/2 gallons of water a day.

I've read studies which show that caffine before a workout only helps. That is why people take ephedra and such before workouts for that "boost". It only adds to creatines effect.

Might want to check this out:

I try not to take a lot of caffine, because I dont find sodas good for you, and I'm not that fond of coffee.

I like to help, but do I look like a drug ******? (The correct answer here is no) So please do not ask me for drugs.
