FDA panel opposes recommending painkiller, cites safety
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A U.S. Food and Drug Administration panel of outside experts voted against recommending Zogenix Inc's Zohydro painkiller for FDA approval on Friday, citing concerns about the danger of addiction posed by the drug class known as opioids.

addiction, addiction you stupid fda bastards.heres one, a guy was in hospice going to die in 24- 48 hrs and a RN asked a MD if he could have morphine via IM, the MD, a man, said; " no, he might get addicted ". but see the guy was going to die in hrs, WTF DO WE CARE IF HES DEAD AND ADDICTED you assholes. very true story. i see some of the most stupidest drs in medicine. but hell if you ask a dr if a patient can have zyprexa, risperdal, other bad sideffect provoking symptoms, sure give them the batch , the dumb druggies will be out like lights and we , wont have to deal with them. these are for seriously bi- polar or psychotic people, not drug withdrawl but it makes drug companies money and congress can keep the lobbyists quite. there aint no good fuking drs today. mines a jerk but better then the rest of the jerks. mine is a idiot while the rest are more of a idiot. i pulled my MD off a maple tree while some get ones pulled off of pine trees these a- holes. iam done *****ing lol.

I was in the hospital in 2008 and begged for pain relief, instead, I was literally laying on the tile floor rolling around trying to find a position where I didnt hurt with pain a 10/10 on pain scale. The nurses would ask, whats your pain level? I would say "its an 11!"...I had one physicians assistant treat me like I was a drug addict in the ER one time and I told him I would be discussing his attitude with the hospital board of directors. Which I did. He got in some trouble.
But how many people are treated that way and they dont have a voice? That PA had no idea who he was dealing with when he walked in thatroom and started lecturing me. I was so pissed I demanded to talk to the head ER DR, who arrived and talked to me, I was very professional and so was he, he finally says to me "Tell,
me whatever you need for your pain and you got it" That was after they put a security guard outside my room LOL...I got the pain relief I needed thatnight and never needed percocet ever again, except for one incident that lasted about a week in 2010.
I was on a dilaudid pump at first but they took me off it and omg, the rebound pain coming off it was the most unbearable pain I have ever known. This all happened after I got kicked in the stomach by a racehorse and had internal damage, which wasnt helped by drinking beer on top of it LOL Talk about a mess...sooo grateful that I am healed up completely...that was like being at deaths door and it wasnt purdy. I thought I was going to die in that hospital. Was there for 2 months. I came back and competed in a competition to prove to myself I was back.
