  • need ideas(rice+beans=protein)?

    want to add a meal like this to upcoming bulker. Any of you guys have any good combo's?

      Rice + beans + roasted pork or chicken and you got a great bulking meal. Lot's of carbs, proteins and non-soluble fibers

        thanks cuban, but the main point of the thread was to get ideas on incomplete proteins that when combined make of a complete protein.
        for example rice has protein that is incomplete meaning it does not have a complete amino acid profile. Same w/ beans, but when you combined rice and beans, the proteins of the 2 make a complete protein which then can be taken into account for daily protein intake.

        simplify:
        rice=carb source
        beans=carb source
        rice+beans=protein source

          damn i had them writen out a while ago but lost them. I was trying to have them combined in my meals for beter absorbtion. The incomplets combined to make completes....hmmm.......i think there was some vegies there, it was a realy interesting study, wish my dumbass remembered them. Rice and beans sound right. Hope someone can help here, cuz i suck lol Good thread though

              Id rather do rice and beans plus whole protein source, those proteins, even when combined are still inferior to say chicken breast or steak.

                To get a signifigant maoutn of protein (300-400 g) your going to have to eat about 800g of carbs.
