Who is a firm believer in Carb cycling, and when cycling, how much fat do you include, on your "high" carb days vs. your low carb days. Do you include any carbs what so ever on your "low" carb days.
I think MicheleHayden is really into the lowcarb/low sugar way of eating. I definitely feel better with watching my carbs but I don't go as far as keto stage.
I havent competed bbing in many yrs but for today my carb intake varies from 1.5-1.8g of crabs per lb of bw on non training days to up to 2.5-3g of crabs per lb of bw on training days.Usualy on the higher end of the scale for me as my cardio activity is usually pretty high training MMA.I have also always been pretty active so my body has gorwn to utilize more carbs than others have.Ive gone as high as 4-5g per lb of bw in the past though when I as younger and my activity levels were even higher.
thank you all for your input. My coach now i trust very much. I think we just gotta switch up which days he has my higher carb intakes on depending on which muscle groups im working out. Now when i say contest dieting/carb cycling my first show as you see in my profile pic i wasted entirely too much muscle with a full keto diet it was insane. I was in la la land 90% of the day AND in the midst of finals at ASU haha. This year i switched my coach, and i am much happier. My mon, wed, fri carbs are still pretty low but considered "high". For instance 80g with breakfast then their are 5 more meals 2 with yams, then one with almond butter, then one with yams, then one with almond butter.
I think its working out very nicely. i should upload some pics from this point being 6 weeks out.

Whats your total macro ount for each day? This is what you want to focus on and fine tune to determine which works best for you.You need to learn how your body reacts and make neccessary adjustments as you go along.Definitely want to keep carbs higher on training days vs off days.
i have had great success with carb cycling: high mid low and zero. keeps the body guessing and not able to adapt. fats obviously increase a touch on zero carb days and so does protein choices. as for keto i hated it and is the only time that i have ever broke down and cheated on a diet. never felt so horrible in my entire life. i have also tried the steady carb approach at 100g first am and post workout and 150g both times and i tend to stall out with that method.
