walmart protein

In Walmart today and saw some 2# jugs of whey protein for a decent price. Is the protein there good? What I mean about good is protein content, taste, and mixability.

It's funny you mention this because I was going to post about my experience with it yesterday. Personally I like it. They have two that I have used, Body something and Pure Protein. The Pure Protein has a Frothy Chocolate flavor that is delicious but very frothy. Content is top notch. You get 25g per serving. The other one is 52g but that is two scoops. I have always been a Optimum guy but forgot to order a couple times and saw the Wal Mart ones for a good price so I bought a few. Try them and let me know what you think.

I know the Six Star brand they carry is Protein Isolates and tastes pretty good.Price is very reasonable as well.

True Protein here on board has some really great tasting and easy mixing powder at at very cheap price.

I heard the Body Fortress is the one that is actually lower in protein than stated by almost half, but it is cheap and taste good so double up on it.

The Body Fortress stuff you can get at walmart online....buy 3 for 40.00. It's really cheap. I heard the Six Star tastes better. That's what I'm buying next time. It's too cheap not too

Body fortress is a decent brand...it's a blend of WPC and WPI...decent.

I don't really care for the body fortress brand, something just doesn't sit right with me. I got some ans from ingles and it is by far the best tasting and best mixing that I've found

Well you get what you pay for. Protein isn't cheap now days and if wal-mart has it they made the vendor cut cost which means quality went out the door. The big thing with wal-mart protein is the fillers and crap in it that's not on the label. The labels aren't always 100% . Some of the lower quality proteins breaks me out and this is the fillers that do this as well. It's cheap and if it works for you then use it. But it's not the best. I really like Allmax stuff. Isoflex 27grams 1 scoop and 115 calories.
