  • Protein Powder VS Real Food

I have always heard that real food is superior..BUT how much does it really make a difference if u sub a shake for chicken for a few meals or what not?

,,assuming that you are keeping the exact same macro count..how will switching affect your body?

Yup, I totally agree with that. Honestly, I remember when Met-Rx first came out. I drank about 8 packs a day for 2 months and didnt eat solid food the whole time. I got ripped and didnt lose a bit of muscle. Not sure I would recommend that, but it definitely worked for me.
Beats the hell out of those bodybuilders carrying their food around in tupperwear...Now thats for the fukin birds...lol

Awesome news!!! Ya see i work in the medical field and am unable to get free except for a few minutes to duck in a staff room. Protein shakes will be MUCH MUCH easier for me just wanted to make sure i wasn't cheating my body by skipping out on the whole foods

i guess it just depends on the person and thier lifestyle.. myself being a crane op.. i carry a big igloo..lunch bucket... and i can eat and work at the same time.. shakes are faster and yes i drink them.. so i guess it all depends on the person..lol

Whole foods are always going to be better than shakes. But yes shakes work but don't use them as your source of protein.

I usually eat/drink five to six meals a day depending on if I train or not. I try to only limit myself to one shake during the day (not counting post work out shake) and one shake at bed time.

I agree but I just cant eat what I need I'm pretty much at a 50/50 shakes to food ratio for protein
