Okay so I need help from my fellow FG brothers! I've sorta lost my groove with lifting and totally lost track of keeping on a good diet. I need to gain an abundance of weight (Naturally) and get back into the swing of things with lifting. I would sooooooo appreciate if someone can give me a breakdown of what a typical day is for thier diet.
this is the cutting diet i just started. im natty also:
Meal # 1 (6:00 AM) 1/2 cup of rolled oats (not quick oats; the old fashioned type; you may sweeten with stevia, splenda, cinnamon, or ginger, no raisins)
6 egg whites or hardboiled
2 scoops pro complex
I'm trying to gain weight not lose it. I've got the opposite problem. I'm trying to gain a good clean 20lbs by December so anyone's help on that would be great.

20 nautrual pounds by December? There's only one way to do that and that's to add quite a bit of fat with it. I gained like 10 pounds in a whole year once, only once. I'm not saying I can do something you can't, I'm just an easy gainer. It's getting lean that I struggle with. If you want 20 pounds by December I would eat no less than 4,000 cals a day. You are going to have to add some fat but you will have the rest of winter and all of spring to get it off.
Breakfast:
6 eggs scrambles (only use 2 yolks)
breakfast potatoes
8 oz milk
Snack:
Proten Shake
1-2 servings of fruit
Snack:
Protein Shake
1-2 servings of fruit
Lunch:
8 oz of some kind of meat
2 servings of veggies (salad is a good one)
sweet potatoe
Snack:
Protein Shake
1-2 servings of fruit
Dinner:
8 oz of meat
2 servings of veggies
"Basmati" Rice (very low on glycemic index)
Late night meal:
8 oz meat
2 servings of veggies
Sweet potatoe or rice
That's 7 meals. The protein shakes digest quickly so will take them about an hour apart in the morning. at 50-60 grams of protein per meal (except breakfast) you should have more than enough. The carbs, veggies and fruit will pack a lot of cals too. You will have to do the math to see how many cals based on the specific foods but that right there is a gainers diet.
I used to have superhuman powers....until my therapist took them away.
Thanks Tmann I tried to rep you but it said I must spread the love first.
I've gained 20lbs in one month one time! I went from eating like 2 good meals a day and a few crappy snacks to straight 6 meals and went on creatine too. I did gain a little fat doing it, but I've never been able to replicate those results again.
If I don't want to invest in protien shakes what can I replace that with? For some reason those shakes give me mega gas! I have a super fast digestive system so within 30 minutes of eating anything my body processes it. I guarantee that's something to do with my problem with weight.
AAAAAAAAHHHHHH! I just weighed myself and I'm at the lowest I've been in 2 years!!!!!! I'm going to start binge eating to try and get weight back ASAP!!!!!!!
Well, I like shakes for convienence and I've had the ones that give you gas too. I use Dymatize Berry Blast and I get no gas. You may at first, but it goes away. Just buy some beano or gas pills to be safe. The powder I get costsme like $28 for 41 servings of 50 grams. I mix in 4 oz of some kind of 100% juice and it tastes awesome. Every single person I've given one of these to has converted for life. The great thing is you can use any juice, apple, cran-grape, cranberry, cran-raspberry, fruit juice, whatever and it tastes different each time. You can throw ice in it if you have a really good blender and it makes an awesome smoothie. And, even with the juice they are less than $1 each. You just can't get 50 grams of protein for $1, you just can't.

here ya go dj. option one is to buy the 3lb tub and have a large assortment of flavors to choose from. the 2nd option is buying a 7lb tub and only having 3 flavors to choose from. i'm assuming you've heard of isopure, the consistancy of the powder makes it more of a drink as opposed to a shake. i tried the alpine punch and its pretty good. it says 2 scoops is a serving, but either way, thats 50g per serving, or you could just do one scoop and it would be 25g, not bad at all. if you bought the 7lb tub and used 2 scoops (50g) at night before bed, that would last you almost 2 months and its $70 i think.
