B-12 Injections

I just took my first B-12 injection. I used a slin pin and buried 1cc in my delt. 1000 (mcgs) Halfway through there was some resistance but I kept going. The injection spot started to swell up and stick out really far, like a golfball. I just massaged it and it went away.

I have buried 1inch needles with 1.5cc of prop in my shoulder before but never had this happen. These slin needles are 1/2".

Just curious if anyone else's injection site swells for a minute or two after B-12?

yep with 1/2" IM it will do that at times! all is well use a bandaid and rub it and it will be gone in a few hours!

i use 1 inch pins just to make sure it goes in far enough....1/2 inch is fine though
