I just bought 20lbs of American Whey. It has no cholesterol, no fat, or sat fats, very low carbs. Its a combination of isolate and ion-exchanged whey. The protein in it is predigested, and has digestive enzymes in it for better protein assimilation, and has 20grams of protein per 1oz scoup. Its $52. per 10lb tub at Dpsnutrition.
Predigested you say? So what does a guy drink a protein shake and shit in a bucket and send it to you? That soudns pretty close to the isopure im talking about 10lbs for 65 and its ion exchange and mixes easier then any ive ever seen and Ive tried them all. I remember 8 years ago when I was using the GNC brand weight gainers, OMG every drink was like you drank a bottle of glue, thats what it felt like in your stomach.
I understand the theory, but it simply doesn't work that way, lol! Your body will use protein as it is needed. Using a "quote" slower absorbtion protien will not change the process in how the body uses it. If you take protein in portions during the day, whether it be from whole foods or protein shakes, your body will allow for it to assimilate into the muscles.
Tends to make me think as well that for someone who has problems digesting protein as it is wouldnt wanna take something supposedly slow absorbing. The Isopure ion exchange it is 10mg Cholesterol, 50mg Protein, 0g Fat, 25g (1g sugar) or 0g Carbs(they make one without carbs), vitamins, glutamine, leucine,lysine,isoleucine......GUYS IM TELLING YOU TRY THIS SHIT ITS THE BOMB, REAL LIGHT ON YOUR STOMACH AND NO BLOATING.
I used it, now that I think about it that might be the best tasting protein around. It was pricey a few years back when i was getting like 35 bucks for a 2.2lb jug, thats bullshit. how much was it on sale for?
It's a website on Yahoo's Shopping page. Can we post links? If so, I'll post it up. Coincidentally, they were selling the 2lbs buckets for 24.99.... not sure what the difference is, but one did have 17.5grams of protein per scoop while the other had 18.
YEA, I WAS PAYING 49 FOR 5LBS A COUPLE YEARS AGO..AND YES, I USE ISOPURE ONCE IN A WHILE. LIKE MICK, I LIKE A LITTLE THICKNESS TO MY SHAKES, AND ISOPURE IS ANYTHING BUT! I DO LIKE THE DIFF. FLAVORS THOUGH...AND I PICKED UP SOME RTD'S FROM GNC FOR .69 EACH...
HE WHO MAKES A BEAST OF HIMSELF, GET'S RID OF THE PAIN OF BEING A MAN!!
It's listed as 49.99, but on sale for 21.99 for the 5lbs bottle, and right below it is the 2lbs bottle for 24.99. Wasn't sure if it was a typo or something so I jumped on it.

I hope not, lol? Actually it is a process in making the protein so it is eaiser on the digestive tract. Actually i think the protein that is slow acting would prob be worse for me as i have a prob digesting dairy and Im lactose intollerant also. I also have a theory that if it is slow at asimilating in the intestinal and digestive tract, that it prob will not absorb as quickly into the muscle ( just my thoughts, lol). One thing i think alot of ppl stray from Isopure is that it is kind of expensive if your going thru say 30lbs of protein a month. Oh, i looked on ebay and didn't see it??
I have tried it, and it is a very light powder, but i went thru it in no time. Even though i can afford to buy it, i just cant see spending that much a month for it.

are you spokesperson for another company, lol......damn a 10lb bucket last like a month for this stuff, there is about 75 servings in it at 50g a serving, so you can take like 2/3 servings and get like 30-35 and stretch way beyond 75. But I have a no carb isopure solution too and I drink it when i dont want any carbs where the other has 23carbs but only 1g of sugar. So really 20lbs last me probably 6-8 weeks at least.....30lbs??? good lord. I eat solid food too though and take about 3 shakes a day. allsportsnutrition.com he has auctions and a website.
