  • Oatmeal, how do you like to eat it?

    I cant stand the taste of it anymore so im open for some new ideas. Lately ive just been blending it up in a blender with around 1-2L of water and chugging it, but thats getting kind of old now. I tried mixing protein powder with it but that didnt taste too great either. Lets here some ideas, thanks

    I put mine in a blender with protein and water. Add about 4 ounces of milk and it will keep its consistency. Also, a banana will take away the taste of the oatmeal and it will be a smoother drink.

        I mix a couple tbl spoons of Peanut butter in with the oat meal, but you have to teally like PB.

            Dude... I put sugar and butter in mine. Add some banana slices and you're good to go.

              I put a little bit of honey in mine makes the plain oats tolerable.

                Not trying to flame or anything, but why bother with oatmeal if you’re going to put butter and sugar in it? You may as well just have some captain crunch.

                Personally, oatmeal is too much of a pain in the ass for me. I prefer whole grain shredded wheat – IMO, it tastes better and travels better, too.

                  instant all the way baby. Yea i now its got a ton of sugar in it so what i have been doing is mixing one packet of regular with one packet of sugar flavored whatever. Tastes ok and its not as bad as 2 packets of flavored oatmeal. Oh by the way i lost 50lbs so it cant be that frigin bad for you.

                    Because I'm not a pro-bodybuilder and I like the taste of it bro.

                    I'll have to try the shredded wheat, that actually sounds good. Or, maybe I'm just hungry. What do you add to it? Or do you?

                      Believe it or not. I love my outmeal with my protein with very little water. It becomes pasty but it reminds of chocalate and PB.

                            How I like to eat it? Oatmeal Cookies, Maple and brown suger, Cinnamon and suger.

                              Ditto. I use the Cinnamon & Spice packets and mix w/ equal amount of plain oatmeal then add a little cinnamon. It's excellent.
