  • OTC diuretics........Dandelion

    Has anyone used Dandelion for a diuretic before? If so, how did you use it? I seen this mentioned in the article posted by YJ.

    i used taraxatone,which contains dandy root. Work pretty well. Took whole bottle in 10 days. 3 pills, 3 x day,for 10days

      I used to use a green tea/dandelion combination about 2 hours before Id hit the beach or the pool, worked well to be inexpensive and all natural.

          Im not familiar with things like taraxatone, is it OTC or can you legally order online? With regards to the dand root, how many mg?

            Shear- I got my taraxatone at GNC. IMO it didn't do much-crombie09

              taraxatone is legal - you can get it in most supplement shops for under 20 bucks and is IMO the best OTC diuretic

                    shear- i take dandelion root 3xday. i got the bottle at the grocery store in the vitamin section for under $10.00 i really like it.

                        Anywhere from 1-3+ grams is pretty normal. 500-1000mg 3X a day.
