  • Favorite/Best/Good Weightgainers please!!

    Hi all,
Could we get an idea as to which one is the best out there?Quality and price wise, taste need not be a criteria as we love to go thru anything to reach our goals!!.. eating/drinking something that does not suit our taste is the last thing we should be worrying about ;-)!!!.. wat say all?..
Oh by the way I bought this thing called "Size Up" its really good... but it gets over quick!!! because of the three BIG scoops..almost 150-200g!!!
    So all...lets roll.....:2gunsfiri

None. All commerical gainers are a joke. They are loaded with maltodextrin, a simple carb that will give you type 2 diabetes if you arent careful (ok, its harder than that to get, but you know what Im saying).... so I suggest making your own, high calorie, high protein, moderate carb moderate fat homemade weight gainer. Very cheap and tastes awesome, try this:

    15oz Milk
    2 scoops whey powder
    2 scoops natural peanut butter
    2 tablespoons flax oil
    1/3 cup crushed oatmeal
    1 banana (if you'd like)

*if using vanilla protein powder, add natural vanilla extract for a better taste.

If you want more complex carbs, add more oatmeal, if you want it slower digesting, add cottage cheese. Give it a try...

Great YJ,how many calories does this get to?.. a Serving of Size up gives me about 900 Calories... and Is it true about the Diabetes part?.I am asking because I am a hardgainer and I think these shakes save time and effort. Thanks in advance

Well Im hesistant to list the macronutrient breakdown and overall calories because look at how many variables there are. Depends on what brand of each ingredient you use. Mine is generally around 650 calories.

And yes, too much sugar and the improper times, spiking your insulin levels can lead to diabetes.

Id do what YJ said but if I was going to buy a weightgainer I would go with the n-large2.
