  • Meal prep services

Anyone have any trustworthy services they use or have used and liked?

I’ve tried icon meals but I wasn’t that happy with food itself.

I’m thinking about giving another run at this whole in shape thing but I have to realistic, my cooking sucks and if I have to meal prep everything myself I just won’t dollow through. I need to get a service to provide me at least 50% of my meals.

I am thinking about giving flexpro a shot, they have decent prices.

Right now I probably spend $50-$100 a week on just lunch at work and that’s all shit food. So anything in that same price range per week for like 10 meals a week or more would be dope.
I never meant to be better than anyone, I was just born that way. Its hard being a god amongst peasants!

I can burn eggs, make bland dry chicken and that’s about it. I make a bomb Ramon thiugh, like the pre packaged one not home made lmao.

I’m impatient so I tried a local company and ordered a weeks worth of meals, we’ll see if it’s good or not. I’m really hoping it is, price is right and reviews are good. I’m going to attempt to get back in shape like one last time before I accept a life of fatness forever. Lmao

I tried HMR. It is for weightloss so portions are too small so I had to eat 3 or 4 at a time. There was only one microwave dish I actually enjoyed but its hella expensive. I suck it up, buy bulk, and cook/clean even when all I want to do is get off my feet, relax, and fall asleep on my couch.

The wife and I get 3 hello fresh meals per week. It makes cooking super easy since they send you everything and the recipes.

I will say that lately we have not been happy with hello fresh. Lately we have been getting rotten veggies upon shipment, they have been forgetting random things two separate tomes they forget the protein itself.

Also my wife and. Where just commenting the other day that the meals used to be better and more filling, as in they used to have larger portions of protein and rice and other good sides. Lately I feel like the portions have become less and the sides are just some cheap veggies.

We are keeepinf it for now becuase it’s made life so much easier for us but we’re in talks of cancelling it.

I would still say give it a try for a couple weeks and see what you think though.

I will check out his meals, I used icon meals before and they did custom work but the food wasn't that great. I am not trying to replace every meal with a meal prep service just my lunch at work and maybe an extra meal sometime during the day, the rest of my meals can be home made, I have been eating so much fast food man and I'm trying to just be healthier at this point I'm destroying my body.

I am trying to approach this a little differently then before, I have some struggles I'm fighting through and I have tried so many different plans and diets and I can't stick with it when I spend the time cooking myself. The food is dry and bland lol.

I don't need a bodybuilding style meal plan right now honestly I just need lean healthy meals. I have no been working out or eating well at all, I've lost all my muscle and got like really fat. If I try to dive head first into a full meal prep/plan and workout routine I know I won't follow through so I'm trying to set everything up so that I have the least amount of hassle or reasons to stop as possible at least until I can get myself back in it if thats even possible.
