that I haven't mastered yet! It sucks. If you cook then too long then they are impossible to peel and if you don't cook them long enough, then well they are runny and messy.

maybe everyone does this already but it was a big day for me when i switched from dropping the eggs in the boiling water to put them in the cold water and then turn on the burner and let the eggs heat up with the water. seem to make peeling them easier and had no 'escapees'Tinfish@Ziplip.com

After ten minutes of a rolling boil drain and the're ready. Foolproof ! Remember the're still cookin on the inside so ya might wanna dunk'em in cold water. Usually not needed though.Leaders did what others weren't willing to do, now they enjoy the things that others do not.

Hard Boiled Eggs 101 -
For perfectly boiled eggs:
1. Place eggs in large pot.
2. Cover with cold water.
3. Place on burner and bring to a roiling boil.
4. When water is reaches a roiling boil turn the stove off and set a timer to 10 minutes (12 at higher altitutdes).
5. While waiting for the timer fill the kitchen half of sink with ice (this assumes that you have a split kitchen sink).
6. When timer goes off, pour hot water down other half of sink and transfer eggs into ice bath (this is what make them easy to peel).
Voila - perfect hard boiled eggs every time.
6.Better to have an approximate answer to the right question than to have an exact answer to the wrong question.
