Been doing a lot of reading on pure clover honey on its health benefits and will be adding that to my daily vitamin regimen. Look it up it also helps wounds like burns heal faster

I used to eat local honey daily for allergies but saw no difference so I stopped. Maybe I will consume it again for the vitamins and stuff.

So do they recommend finding a beekeeper close by where you live to buy your honey from? Theres a guy down the road with a sign out front that says HONEY. I was wondering if I could hire someone to maintain some hives on my property. I dont want to do beekeeping myself but would be great if someone would do it all for me. Im wondering if it would increase fruit on the 80 fruit trees I have planted. They have beekeeping classes all the time around here but I dont want to do it due to my obsessive personality. If I get into something, I take it to the extreme and become fanatical. lol I couldnt plant just one fruit tree, I had to plant 80. Not just a few tart cherry trees, I planted 40. Why do anything halfassed? lol

Just a little warning about honey (I just made a similar post on another thread)....
The supply for honey can not keep up with the demand and there are less bee s in the world due to colony collapse so if anything prices should be going up. Yet there is some pretty cheap honey out there (especially in stores like Costco and BJs)

So this means that there is adulterated honey hitting the market and the source is from China. China cuts their honey with rice syrup and the US govt has tried to stop it but China finds ways to sneak it in...

Watch the 1st episode of Rotten on Netflix and you will see the story.

Bottom line if you want real honey it's gonna cost you more. Try to buy from a local if you can.

Thanks. Good to know. Seems like those chinese are always fucking with stuff they are selling to americans. This is like that olive oil story that said most olive oil is fake, like its really just sunflower oil or some kinda shit that was not even olive oil

i make it a point for some reason to pick local honey up any state i go to.. so far georgia honey is my favorite.
at many of the farmers markets you can get it right from the bee keepers themselves.

Dzone, I bet if you reached out to a beekeeper they would gladly put a couple hives on your property and I think it may increase fruit yield. Hell just ask for some honey in return. How cool would that "bee" (pardon the bad pun) to eat honey made by bees who collected pollen on your own property!
