Actually, in real life you made the first 'smartass' comment when you said

This Flax thing is out of hand, do people REALLY know what they're talking about OR just listening to others?
May want to read some posts before you ATTEMPT to insult someone's intelligence. Your post contained nothing useful, only the obvious. Sorry to burst you bubble.

      Scorpion,

I've used flax to cut and I've not used flax to cut.
For myself, I'm not a proponent of it. I'm in agreement with Champ, 12 weeks of consistently eating turkey, chicken, rice and water, has worked for me everytime for many years. I've tried everything in between, and everytime back to those basics I go.
Fortunately for me, I see good results after a month, great results in two.

      Good Luck

Champ I understand the point you were making, and it is valid. But the additudes need to be checked. There are less aggraveting ways to disagree, all this will lead to is more threads of continues flamming something Geared will not tolerate, so go easy. And just to throw it in there I prefer Macadamia nut oil or coconut oil while cutting.

Sure you can get lean and ripped with little or no fat, but its not healthy. I myself dont use flax when cutting, i rely on avocados, natty PB, olive oil, and whatever is in my dressings (usually canola)
I eat at least 6 times a day to build my body
I pray at least 6 times a day to build my soul

Ya Know, Basskiller, since you brought it up I figured I'd tell you a little story.
At 16 years old I began working for former Mr. America, Steve Michalik. He was my trainer, mentor and friend and he was helping me prepare for my 3rd contest, NPC New york State. Because of my inquisitive nature, I would sit at the desk and ask him question after question and when he answered it I would ask him why. Finally Steve, realizing it wasn't gonna stop, began recommending books for me to read. Reluctantly, I began reading. Looking back, it was the best thing he could have told me. Today I have knolwledge of this game, bodybuilding, that I couldn't have bought anywhere. I now believe that there is NO SHORTCUT TO EDUCATION! So to answer your question, I feel, that by recommending a great book, I did what I can to hopefully ENLIGHTEN Scorpion.
As for me, in 1988, I won a teen national qualifier then stopped competing, but continued training for other goals. This fall, after 14 years from competing in the NPC, I re qualified for the nationals and will hit them this fall. I'm currently 310 and making enormous progress and should do very well.

Humble, too, aren't ya? so you've done 2 shows? that's all? and they happened to be national qualifiers...well, there are lots of national qualifier shows out there...it's as much a function of promotion as it is level of competition....just because one qualifies doesn't automatically mean they are nationals material...maybe you are....maybe you ain't. if youve only done 2 shows, I doubt if you know how to stand in front of the judges and do 1/4 turns correctly...rotsa ruck

MB.......... Actually, I've competed in 7 shows as a teen, from 15 to 19. Then in 98 began competing again while drug free (10 y) and became pro with a natural org, the NABF. Then in 2002 decided to get back in the NPC and won in NJ. Trust me Jersey is a tough bb state and I'm sure the guys I beat would hate to think that they weren't any good, especially the two that placed at the juniors and have been in the usa and nationals.

                      I'll stand corrected...but my opinion is: history/experience = knowledge. bragging = bullshit.

I totally agree with you. However, I didn't think I was bragging. Someone askes to enlighten them, so I did, thats all!

..."I'm 310 and making enormous progress..." and.."when you get to my level of competition.." That's called bragging, here in cotton country.. post some pics. that will be worth 1,000 or more words. If you are all you say you are, I'll be the first to congratulate and encourage you

These are me at only 254, a few weeks out from a show last year. Like I said, 310 now and hope to compete ALOT bigger this fall (not being arrogant here.)

I would say, although you didnt ask, a little trap and rear delt improvement, and you will make some noise. Bigger than me definitley, but i have an attention for detail. Congrats on the tremendous physique!
