Been doing some research lately and I'm shocked to find so much pointing to probiotics being a scam. There is only a few brands that can actually demonstrate effectiveness...usually those brands must be refrigerated.
What brand do you use, if any? And why?
Personally I've tried many and have no idea if they worked or not.
when I used them , I preferred Garden Of Life or Mega Foods. Because they are kept refrigerated in the store or delivered in dry ice. Are they as potent as stated? Not sure but those are the 2 brands I stick with if I would buy and not at a super high bacteria count. I used those brands beacuse they are the closet to real food, in a supp, and they don't contain the crappy fillers. I think the most effective way is through the proper pre and probiotic fermented foods,

yes!!!!!!!!!! I use VSL 3 which has passed consumer labs independent testing. A lot of the probiotic supps say "3 billion live probiotics per serving at time of manufacturer"
I read the same thing that about 50% had ZERO live cultures left. ZERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think a good probiotic supp is beneficial but one must do their due diligence to make sure it is a quality supp. And they are normally more expensive.
