going off of what the judges look for in my area i would say she will be very very hard to beat. she is dialed in big time and should do very well. great job guys

Thanks to all for your support and encouragement, 3 hours to showtime...FINAL prep!!! Oh, and she gets to have Honey Nut Cheerios for prejudging breakfast...and some Caramel Corn Rice Cakes!!! She is a warrior!!! Professional photos from show will be posted this week!!!

One of the judges and a promoter recognized me from my competitions in 2005-2007, asked when I was competing again...was surprised, told them once we get Nikki through both her shows I will grace the stage again...love this sport and the people included, like family!!!

Hey FG family...well Nikki took 2nd Place in the Master's 40+ Figure, she went up against 3 women in her division, geez there must have been 100+ bikini competitors, and 1 womens physique...should have entered Nikki in a couple of other divisions but this being her first show did not want to overwhelm her...so here are some pictures from the show and I will let all of you decide what you think...I thought she had better conditioning, better muscle fullness, better areas than the other girl and the pictures are just of the 1st and 2nd place...the other gal wasn't in the equation...

So there is a story behind the gal who beat her...politics probably, sucks that it is in everything we do...the girl who took first place this too was her warm up show as she is heading to the Nationals...already qualified, so like this was Nikki's tune-up show for the one we have been targeting July 12th, so yeah the judges were favoring her possibly??? Would the NPC judges want her to place lower than 1st at a show prior to her going to Nationals??? You know guns...I too will be competing this year but the one thing I did do yesterday was network and talked with the judges, sponsors, and promoters letting them know...as some did ask me...that I will be competing in October and November. It was pretty cool when after 7 years off the competition road that several of the judges and promoters remembered who I was and was asking if I too was competing this year...but man the guy who took the show for the mens open bodybuilding was crazy big, cut, and just looked pro!!! I have some work to do...and my brother guns may be hitting you up here for some brotherly advice along the way.

It was a great experience for both Nikki and I as most were astonished that her coach was her husband, this guy I met Norm Johnson, who has a women team called the Femme Fatale said Nikki came in perfect and he was blown away I coached her through it all...including her nutrition and prep. He gave her and I some pointers on her posing which will be used for the next show, we will try and bring her in just the same but posing will be dialed better.

Thanks buddy for your comment...I wish I could post face pictures as my oldest daughter came with us and did mom's make-up and did it well!!! She actually could do competiton make-up at shows...but she will be doing it for our new founded competition team...Team Coastside!!!

To me and I have idea what the judges are looking for but Nikki's legs arms and abs blow the winners away. The middle girl who won I guess has a nice back. Nikki look the best standing with her statue she seems happy. The 1 side pose she beat the winner to death. You both are great and Nikki will be taking first soon I would bet on that. Thanks you two!!! I have plans for this next show...posing...posing...posing!!! Getting it dialed, bring her in the same if not just a little tighter, and with the butterflies gone and she now has the stage presence experience, as well as some great feedback from two judges who will be judging the next show ...we will take nothing less than 1st!!!
