This is my 12 y/o son. He has been asking me to take him to the gym for quite some time now, so I told him when he can do 50 push ups and 20 pull ups without stopping I would take him. Well he did 82 push ups and 23 pull ups today soooo. He said he would get up early and go with me before he goes to school. So Monday we will give it a go. He will probably where me out. the little shit just don't quit.

Thats awesome DD! Does he do gymnastics? Sure looks like it> Sounds like you are a great positive influence to him, the way a Dad should be.

No gymnastics but he has played football and baseball since he was 5, and wrestling this year. He works out at home doing some things that I've told him also. Thanks and I do try to be a good influence for both my boys in addition to half of the boys in town. I have coached football and baseball for the last 11 years, and I'm the president of our football organization for the last 2 years. I have been blessed with 2 great boys that make me proud almost daily.

So I got home from work thismorning and guess who was already up and dressed ready to go. Yup my kid. He was like what took so long dad. LOL So I got changed and off we went. That little shit did not want to quit and we did legs. I must say it was a happy day for DaddyDawg. He did not complain, argue, or want to quit at all. Now we'll see if he still wants to after he trys to walk tomorrow. LOL But I did try to take it light on him and still get a workout. He asked if they have comps for kids and I started laughing and told him first thing first. Any way that's enough of the proud dad rant. Hope everyone has a great weekend and happy training FG.

Holy crap Dog. He looks stout for a kid, no joke if I saw this some where else i would think it was photo-shopped. Big props to him for being so determined at a young age and to you for teaching him so well.

Congrats! You have a wonderful son or 2. My boy had all the God given gifts any athlete could ever want but absolutely no drive. Spent a fortune in time and money trying to get him to the Big Leagues. All he wants is a wife and 6 kids. Guess I have to start all over again.
