what I do for traps is really simple stuff, although having a good back workout helps too, which on back days I traps as well...I do
seated shrugs-4sets-10-08-06-04-db's-start@90-95-100-125
this keeps me from bending elbows, no straps either, that way I know I'm holding me weight, not the strap.
Standing shrugs-same as above, except I keep the DB's in front of me, not on side.
Straight bar shrugs-same as above except I go no higher than maybe 315lbs. that way I'm not "jerking" the weight like most people do with like 415lbs to show off. I really do "squeeze" thos traps, I just like the burning sensation kid.
now I also do behind the neck pull ups, it does help your traps as well.

thanx yea I do a similar routine, I love using the smith machine for barbell shrugs, in front and behind the neck. You forgot to mention up-right rows, you do them as well? I like supersetting them with db and bb shrugs.
on shoulder days I do those. that's why I didn't say it
