    pump shows the importance of a strict diet and what it can do

    a few questions...

    you have been lifting prior to this only three months?

    I might have missed it, but what is your BF % both before and after your cycles...

      Thanks for the nice words bro. As far as the strict diet goes, I think you have to be strict with your diet if you want to make any real improvements. I've got the kind of metabolism where I can tell an immediate difference in my appearance and strength if I slack even a little on my diet. IMO, it really is the most important part of bodybuilding.

      Regarding your questions, I don't know where you saw I was only lifting 3 months. I've been training for 6 out of the last 8 years. And my BF was about 10% before my 1st cycle. It was 8% after my 2nd cycle. I got leaner during both cycles.

                  Bench: 370 (Just short of Lock-out) (raw) 225x24 275x15 300x8 315x7 325x5 335x3.75 (all raw)

                  Deadlift: 510 off the floor, 565 from lowest setting on power rack

                  Beast Lift (a deadlift with the bar behind the legs): 590 off the floor,725 off the power rack on lowest setting

                  Incline Barbell Press: 360lbsx1 (raw) 275x11 225x20 315x6 335x2.75

                  Some Short-term Goals:

                  Flat Bench Press: 405 unassisted and raw by december

                  Rack Lock-outs: 500 Soon!

                  Incline Barbell Press: 405 unassisted by april

                  Deadlift: 600 off the floor by april , 700 off the lowest setting on power rack

                  Beast Lift (a deadlift with the bar behind the legs) : 650 off the floor by april, 800 off the lowest setting on power rack

                  And some stats:
                  Im 5'9 185-195lbs 17 7/8 inch arms (18 1/2 pumped) 48 1/2 chest and 25" legs

                        Thanks for the compliments. I should have some new pics up in a couple weeks when I come closer to finishing this cycle. Walking Beast, as for my measurements, I just took them (cold) so here's what they are now...

                        (updated 1/26/04 ) 220, 6'1/2", 8% BF
                        Chest 48.5"
                        Arms 18"
                        Forearms 14 3/4"
                        Quads 25 1/2"
                        Calves 17"
                        Neck 17"
                        Waist 34 1/2" ( :p I'm bulking, but I can still see my abs!)

                        My stats were a bit different in those photos taken last summer when my BF was lower.

                          Awesome! Im 5'8 with alot of the same measurements. Its nice to know you can have close to a 35" waist and still be lean. I deadlift alot and have 35" waist, but can still see the abs when flexed. My calves are shit compared to yours though. 14". haha.You look alot bigger. Great work!!!!!!

                                I remember Sugga...doesn't she have the bird's kissing in her avatar? Is she still on there? And no, I'm not Shawn, all though I hang out with 2 bros named that. I'm glad to know I made the "hunk wall". That's hilarious. I will post some pics in a few months that will hopefully put these to shame so keep an eye out!
