  • Swollen painful joints

For the past 6 months I have had very painful wrist pain and finger joint pain with mild swelling. It is now in my ankles as well. My neurologist, who I see monthly, referred me to a rheumatologist. I used to see one a few years ago but she is in another state. Time for a full work up again. This hot weather isnt good for me lately. Headed npw to do my masterd yoga pose(the only one I do), legs up tha wall. It is helpful, and then its to the gym! I really chalk all this shit up to crazy mid life woman shit! It will pass eventually

let me know what you find out as well! Years ago my rheumatologist really had me pegged at having Lupus but the tests did not confirm it. tests do not always indicate things though. I am becoming a non believer in diagnosisis anyway. I will just keep on plugging along, but please keep me updated on you

I agree! Tests don't always help! All we can do is keep pushing forward! Have you added any anti inflammatory supplements or anything to see if it would help? I am using selenium right now and getting some tumeric as well.

That's good! I went Monday to my regular dr. She said she was going to order a lot of bw...ended up just being my rh factor, crp, and ferritin(iron). All came back normal. She prescribed me some meloxicam. I think I will probably give it a few weeks and then call my rheumatologist to look a little deeper if it doesn't clear up. It's definitely interfering with my training! Has yours changed any?

Hope you all are feeling better soon. Let medicine be thy food and food be thy medicine. Grow some greens and eat them right off the plant. I eat handfuls of basil, mint, parsley, cilantro straight from the ground to my digestive tract . I pick and eat. It gives me a boost of energy and no doubt it heals. And of course tart cherries are a big superfood. Call me crazy but I feel half my age haha

still happening. My creatinine level is high and it has never been. Bun is normal...it is not from dehydration protein etc. doc isnt worried but my ankles hurt like hell. I have cystic kidneys and part of one removed so i am requesting a renal CT. It has been awhile since I had one and my partial nephrectomy was already 6 years ago!!!! The turmeric is supposed to be helpful for the kidneys so I will continue with that.
